The title for this book is chosen very well. But as the story progressed, the reason behind her such behavior became crystal clear. Initially, nearly for half of the book I thought that she had some ulterior motives. But what surprised me is that how the author managed to change my perspective and feelings towards Chloe. It is extremely hard not to love Samantha and Josh. The character development is very well done. Will Sam find out reason behind her cousin’s sudden arrival? Will she be able to help her? Sam’s cousin also arrives with her baby, leaving her husband without any explanation. Everyone has some or the other problems or secrets and is need of Sam’s help. She is living a peaceful life with Josh and her work until she finds herself in a house full of people. Samantha is successfully running her Hedgehog Hollow with increasing numbers of new admissions. The story revolves around the life of Samantha. Hence, it is also perfect to read as a standalone but I would suggest to first read the previous two books to get a better understanding of the plot and the characters.

Although this is the third book in the series, the author puts a brief summary of the happenings from the previous books to help the readers recall the plot or understand the situations. This book is the third installment in the Hedgehog Hollow series.
